This semi-autobiographical play is set in Brooklyn New York during the late l940s. It is about the Jerome family, centering around Eugene and his older brother Stanley dealing with their parents relationship as the brothers work together to become aspiring TV and radio writers.  Their socialist learning grandfather provides the play with a lot of warmth and humor.  There are six main characters which are all family and three minor rolls as ( on stage) radio announcers.  This play is half drama half comedy and provides all the elements of true Neil Simon theatre. Telluride Blues and Brews Festival, Sept 17-19, 2010 
The final line-up for the l7th Annual Telluride Blues and Brews Festival will be announced August 16.  The Festival's signature Grand Tasting  (Sat. September l8, 2010) one of the premier tasting events in the Southwest featuring more than l50 beers from over 50 microbreweries, including the Telluride Blues and Brews official beer sponsor Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. Taste everything from ales to lagers nut browns and IPA from award winning microbreweries from the southwest and beyond. George Thorogood and the Destroyers, known for riffs and songs like "Bad to the Bone" will take the Blues & Brews headliner  slot left empty by the recent cancellation of ZZ Top.  Special guests Elvin Bishop and Eddie Shaw will join Thorogood on stage.  As if there wasn't enough funk scheduled for the weekend, Cyril Neville (of the Neville Brothers) will join Galactic on stage on Saturday night to blend jazz, funk and new Orleans jazz.  Jimmie Vaughn will replace The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band on Friday night.   www.tellurideblues.com
